I do not know the Harmen or Lane familes personally, I am a friend of Joie's. I spoke with her last night because she was weighing heavy on my mind. She infomred me what had happened and my heart just broke for the families. Please know that there are people praying for your families during this difficult time.

We are very sorry to hear about your loss, I knew Melissa through work at C.H.S. she was as nice as she was beautiful and always such a great spirit. My husband coached Tyler and Trenton at 7-Oaks Baseball Park and he always talked about what wonderful boys they are. I hope that somehow you and your family can find peace and know how much Melissa was loved by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My deepest sypathies go out to Melissa's family and boys. I met Melissa seven or eight years ago when she first starting working at CHS in Brentwood. We quickly discovered we where actually neighbors on Stoneridge Parkway and also had two children about he same ages. We developed an instant friendship and our children also became friends. Over the years, she became one of my closest friends. I have such fond memoires of our children going to the circus together and attending each others birthday parties and just playing together being kids. We had many good times together. Over the years, as our lives changed, we didn't get to see each other that often, but we still talked frequently on the phone and kept up with each other lives. She had just stopped by my house two Saturdays ago just to say "Hi" and tell me the latest news. I still can't believe she is gone. She was a wonderful mother and the most beautiful person I've ever known. I will miss her friendship greatly.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, sister, and daughter. I have lived next to Melissa for the last couple of years, and unfortunately didn't have much time between our very busy schedules with children to get to now her extremely well. But she was always friendly each time we talked or passed each other almost every day. She will be missed and hope that God can grant each of you strength in dealing with your loss of your loved one. Melissa will be missed, and I pray for the kids and that each of you can help keep her alive in them through her memories. God bless you and your family.

To the Harmon family: I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I had known Melissa since 2001. We worked together at two different jobs. I thought she was one of the most beautiful people I ever had the opportunity to meet. I just spoke to her two weeks ago and cannot believe that she has passed. I will miss her beautiful smile.
