It is very important to me Steve that you know why one white rose was sent to honor Michele. I am compelled with its simplistics. Not able to send one candlelight -the white rose symbolizes Michele's life pure with her faith in Christ, as well as representation of Christ's everylasting life through Michele's belief in Christ. While with us she carried Christ's light in her heart - a white rose rather than one lighted candle. Also, the white rose symbolizes the life Michele gave Dillon as a mother. There are many who may be motherly, but we only have one mother. Christ's love is exhibited through your marriage, and your son by who Michele was in Christ. One Savior, one light, one faith through Michele - is why I chose one white rose to recognize her faith and love for you and Dillon. Love, Margo

I had the privilege to work with Michele for the past year and a half. We shared so many laughs and good times that it seems much longer. I feel truly special that she chose me to work with her. She was serious about her work. She cared about it intensely, and she wanted me to, too. She was, hands down, the best boss a person could have. When I accepted the position and she offered to come in on the weekend before I started to help me move in and decorate my office, I knew I was going to be working with someone really special. I was right. I was constantly amazed by her quick wit, her confidence, and the amazing speed at which she was able to grasp things. But more than a great boss and attorney, she was a wonderful person and friend as well. She truly cared about other people. She lit up every room she ever entered. She had the ability to make other people feel good, which is a rare and priceless quality. I will miss her deeply. Steven, Dillon, and all of the family, my heart goes out to you. May God give you strength and courage now, and comfort you in the days ahead.

I was very blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Michelle since I have been working for the Town of Smyrna. She always had a smile on her face and so fun to be around. She will be missed greatly.
