Phil and I were attending the National Quartet Convention in Kentucky when Jerry passed away. We just wanted to tell his family that he touched many people with his humor and gentle spirit. May God provide to each of you His Perfect Peace. As former class mates of Jerry, he will be missed. May God comfort you! Phil and Judy

To all of the Weaver Family, I want you to know how very sorry Iam for you. I know that Jerry is not hurting any more. With being a part of your family for so many years, I can remember alot of good times we had together. He had a spot in my heart. He was a great Grandfather to mine and Tims children. If there is any thing at all I can do for you just please let me know. I do still care about all of you. Mary

Sally, I was sorry to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of the times spent playing with Tim, Dave and Renee while mom, dad, you and Jerry played cards. Time goes by so quickly and it's sad to think of the ones you lose touch with over the years. You were in my dad's thoughts many times before he passed and he talked of the times spent with you and Jerry in Mt. Jewett. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I have often wondered about you and your family and the good times that we had back in Jewett. It does not seem possible that Jerry was 70, I can remember when he was much younger. You and your family are in our prayers. If you have time drop me a note----P.O. Box 60 Belmont,WV 26134, Would love to hear from you. Jim & Marianne (Wells) Poling

My mother,Helen Lyman, was Camp Nurse at Camp Findley where I spent summers in the "early years" of the Camp's existence. Jerry and I often "borrowed" the camp rowboat, went out onto Findley Lake and down to the end of the lake where the lily pads grew. What an adventure for two young boys! However, at some point we would "remember" that we were given strict orders not to take the camp rowboat out on the lake! So we would pick a lily or two to take home to our mothers, hoping that they would help make up for our disobedience. It never did! But the fascination was so great that we kept on taking the boat out on the lake. Jerry was only a year older than I and we were best friends during those summers. May God be with you in your time of loss. Larry and Ellen Lyman
