Mr. Baker has been and continues to be an inspiration to our fire department. He quickly became more than an instructor to us; he became a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Baker family.

We were so saddened to hear of Lewis's passing. Not only will he be missed in the choir, but we will greatly miss his smile in the hallways. We will continue praying for you in the days to come, but we rejoice with you that he is in the presence of the Almighty God.

Deepest sympathy during this time. I will always have fond memories of Lewis sitting on a 5 gallon bucket cleaning parts and telling stories at the old fire school. He was a great role model, instructor, and person. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Lewis.

I had Mr. Baker in pump class several years ago. I have never had a class where I learned so much not only about fire pumps but being a fireman and a public servant. In twenty years of fire service, not a day goes by that I don't think about those his class and what I learned. Mr. Baker has given so much to this great state and he will be sorely missed. My heart and prayers go out to his wife and family in their loss. May God comfort them.
