Glinda R. Parker, 55, of Smyrna passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at StoneCrest Medical Center. Ms. Parker was a native and life-long residence of Rutherford County. She was a 1973 graduate of Smyrna High School and received her Bachelor degree in Business Administration at MTSU. She worked for the State of Tennessee and was a member of Florence Church of Christ.
Ms. Parker was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Parker. She is survived by her father, Charles (Rachel) Parker of Nashville; brothers, William Parker of Smyrna; Jeffrey (Donya) Parker of La Vergne; sister, Paula (Alvin) Hurt of Smyrna; she was a loving aunt to 4 nephews and 1 niece.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 12:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Marion West officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
