Janie Sue Churchwell Parks, age 57, of Murfreesboro, passed away at her daughters residence Monday, September 04, 2006. Janie was a native of Detroit, Michigan but was a longtime Murfreesboro resident.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents, Elam Matthew Jr and Dorthy Nell Allen Russell; husbands, Ray Lloyd and Lonnie Churchwell; brother, Dennis Russell.
Janie is survived by her husband, Daniel Parks of Murfreesboro; daughters, Bobbie (Mike) Grizzle of Murfreesboro and Dottie (Randy) Anderson of Murfreesboro; son, James "Bubba" (Amy) Kirk of Lavergne; sister, Pamela Setser of Lavergne; brothers, David Russell of Gallatin, Douglas Russell of Lavergne and Al Russell of Primm Springs, TN; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Janie will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 07, 2006 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Mike Grizzell and Al Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
