Lisa and Family, Angela and I were out of the country and not able to attend the services for Mark, but we were thinking of you and your families at this time of sadness. All too often we hear glowing comments and praise for those just departed and wonder if these are the same people that we had known while they were alive. It is rare when the kind and respectful phrases voiced after passing match the life and deeds of the person. Your Mark was truly worthy of our admiration, as well as our love. We can easily appreciate his faith and devotion to his God. However, it is just as important that Mark was recognized as a good man, an honest person, respectful and polite, kind and quick to appreciate the best in others. It means so much that he was more than just religious and devout; there are many who are religious but not worthy of our respect or trust. Mark was true to his family, his friends, and even passing acquaintances and business relationships. A good man, a caring man, a respected man, a devoted man, a trusted and honest man - he was a rare man in our world today. We will miss him greatly. Peace -

I didn't know Mark well. I was simply impressed by what it was like to be around him during company business. I feel the loss deeply. I'm so sorry I was too sick to come. My deepest sympathies for your family. My entire church has prayed and continues to pray for your family. The most I could think to do for Mark was to spread his message included in the last email received from Lisa. Please know Mark's message has traveled far and will continue to impress upon people during their lives. I pray you feel the arms wrapped around your family from heaven that will not fail you.
