I am so sorry for your loss. I think of Shirley often as I have an online account that asks the name of your best friend from school .. It was Shirley. I was known as the "Other Shirley".. As she was always there and was so heavily involved with everything. I enrolled at Howard much later and she was the only friend I remember from school as I moved so often during my young years . We worked together at Couser's for a couple of years. She met Hank and I met Bill during that perios. She was a devoted friend and I loved her dearly. I cannot believe I lost touch with her. I am so beyond sad!

We were sorry to learn of Shirley’s death. We are so lucky to have enjoyed the smiling friendship and song that she so graciously shared for the past twenty-five years.
