Sherman R. Robinson, Jr.
Sherman R. Robinson Jr. 84, passed away on October 29, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro. Mr. Robinson was a security officer and was Church of Christ faith. He was the son of the late Sherman Richard Robinson, and Carrie Mae Helton Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Sam, John, Lee and Jonas; sisters, Pearl Ghee, Louise Soggs, Mary Lokey; son, Sherman Bud Robinson; son-in-laws, Gene Bud Morton and Ben Edwards.
He is survived by wife, Margie Smotherman Robinson of Murfreesboro; children, Elaine Evans (Ron) of Smyrna, Barbara McMahan (Larry) of Murfreesboro, Diane Morton of Murfreesboro, Susan Harris of Murfreesboro; Terry Robinson (Debbie) of Bradyville, Barry Robinson (Shari) of Lewisburg, Beverly Edwards (Craig Carpenter) of Rockvale; brother, Tommy Robinson of Murfreesboro; sisters, Martha Fox of Christiana, Nancy Stem of Unionville, Ellen Albro and Willie Raymond both of Arizona; fourteen grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren and beloved buddy and pet, Dakota also survive.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the funeral at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Davenport officiating. Interment in Robinson Ridge Cemetery in Cannon County.
