Obituary of Philip Payne Winnette

Mr. Philip Payne Winnette of Murfreesboro was born on July 10, 1935 in Bedford County, TN and he passed away on Monday night November 17, 2014 at his residence at the age of 79.
Mr. Winnette was the son of the late Carl and Katie Haru Phillips Winnette. He was married to Patricia Ann Woodward Winnette for 52 years. Mr. Winnette was employed by Courier Printing for 32 years and served in the US Army. He was a member of the Windrow Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Mr. Winnette was preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Wade and Ridley Winnette and 1 Sister, Hazel Hall.
Survivors in addition to his wife are 3 Sons: Jeffrey (Carol) Winnette of Sommerville, TN; Scott (Anthony) Winnette of Maryland and Terry Winnette of Murfreesboro. 4 Brothers: James Winnette of Shelbyville, TN; Garrett Winnette of Wartrace, TN; Pete Winnette of Dallas, TX AND George Winnette of Murfreesboro, TN. 1 Sister: Elizabeth Parks of Columbia, TN and 2 Granddaughters.
Graveside service and internment with Military Honors will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Temple Cemetery at 2491 Old Farmington Rd, Lewisburg, TN at 1 PM with Pastor David Martin officiating. A reception with the family will be immediately following at Farmington Church of Christ, 2192 Highway 40, Lewisburg TN 37091.
