Obituary of Josephine Bone Patterson

Mrs. Josephine Bone Patterson was born April 1, 1927 in Grundy Co., TN and she passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at the TN State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro at the age of 87. Mrs. Patterson was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Mooney Bone and was married to Henry Ford Patterson who passed away on Oct. 11, 2009. She was a member of the Barfield Baptist Church and a resident of the TN Veterans Home in Murfreesboro. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers, Claude and Victor Bone, 2 sisters, Etta Mae Landon, and Alice Warren. Mrs. Patterson is survived by 3 daughters, Sandra (Dan) Castle of Clarksville, TN, Judi (Dwain) Qualls of Vanleer, TN and Lynne (David) Lee of Smyrna. 2 sisters, Sue Hargis of Georgia and Clara Landon of Grundy County. 3 Brothers Paul (Mary) Bone of Michigan, Sam (Mae Ellen) Bone of Huntland, TN and Clyde (Betty) Bone of TN. 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 4-8 PM and Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 12-1 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with funeral services at 1 PM in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Lee, Dwain Qualls, John Stansberry, Jonathan Nash, Taylor Coleman, and Carey Tolbert. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the TN State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro.
