JOHN WHITE (SMSgt USAF RET.)
John White, age 82 of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Sarah White; sisters, Sadie Bush and Willodean Hunter; brothers, Garland, Calvin and Jasper White.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jenny; daughter, Bonnie (Ritchie) Rhodes; sons, Steve (Tammy) and David; one brother, Edward (Jean) White of Carthage; four grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan White, Capt. Ritchie (Ricki) Rhodes Jr, US ARMY, Olivia (Matt) Hughes, great-grandchild Reagan Rhodes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. White was a Vietnam Veteran and served a distinguished 24 years in the United States Air Force. He later retired as an employee of Mueller Industries.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 12-2 pm at Franklin Road Baptist Church, 3148 Franklin Rd, Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM with Bro. Mike Norris and Bro. Ron Ralph officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015, beginning at 2 pm at the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN.
