Darlene "Darby" Marie Blackman was born March 14, 1947 in Omer, MI and she passed away on Friday night at her residence in Christiana at the age of 68.
She was the daughter of the late Guy E. and Delores Corey and was married to Jim Blackman. Darlene was an insurance agent.
Mrs. Blackman was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jason King.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Blackman of Christiana, children, Kimberlee Diane Queener, Dannett Marie Revord, Alicia Renee Jones and her husband Greg Jones, step children, Timmy Blackman, Ruth Ann Blackman and JC Blackman. Six grandchildren, Kristen King, Corey King, Presley Jones, Hailey Blackman, Luke Blackman and Peyton Blackman. Five great grandchildren, sister, Cheryl King and life long friend of 54 years Nancy Bratcher.
Visitation with the family will be 4-6 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 with memorial service beginning at 6 PM in the chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
