Dumpert, Douglas Edward age 46 of Murfreesboro passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at his home. He was a United State Veteran serving in the Air Force. He was a faithful member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. Douglas was blessed to be able to have his dream job before he passed. It was a true honor to him to serve the veterans by meeting their transportation needs.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Mona Dumpert; wife of 23 years, Michele Dumpert; daughters, Melissa and Tiffani Dumpert; son, Matthew Dumpert; brother, Chad Dumpert; sisters, Kelli Byrd and Julie Dumpert; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Franklin Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Norris officiating with procession following to Evergreen Cemetery for graveside services with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the grandson of a dear friend, who is also battling brain cancer: Jude Long, 7489 Hastings Point, West Chester, OH 45069.
