Bobbie Grove Odom was born September 16, 1931 in Athens, TN and she passed away at her residence in Murfreesboro on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the age of 84.
Mrs. Odom was the daughter of James Franklin and Bertie Asalee Ghorley Ratledge. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union McMinn Baptist Church in Niota, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry L. Odom who passed away, May 30, 2007, three brothers, Jim, Dick and Frank Ratledge and a sister Gladys Ratledge.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (Bob) Sinclair of Brentwood, three grandchildren, Rebecca (David) White, John Marshall (Shelley) Sinclair and Tyler (Margaret) Sinclair all of Nashville. Great grandchild, Maddux White, sister, Louie Arnwine of Niota, TN and two brothers, William Ratledge of Athens, TN and Howard Ratledge of Niota, TN.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 27, 2015, 3-5 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 1 PM at Kyker Funeral Home in Sweetwater, TN with burial in Sweetwater Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
