Obituary of J E Young

J.E. Young was born on June 23, 1941 and passed away on December 19, 2015. He was born in Sparta, TN. to Winfred and Edna Young. Mr. Young was a retired truck driver and also served in the military (Army) from 1961-1964. He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Edna Young. Step-mother Dessie Young. Also brothers Donald and Doyle Young. Sister Eleyse Evans. Step-brothers Freddy Brown, Don Russell and step-sister Judy Hawkins. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 54 years Jane Young. Also by his children: Sons, Steve Young of Murfreesboro, Jeff (Wendy) Young of Smyrna and daughter Jana (Mickey) Beck of Lebanon. Also, grandchildren Steven Brock Young, Tyler and Seth Beck, Samantha Laugherty and Cameron Wilkins. Great grandchild Wyatt Young. Also survived by his brother Winfred Young, Jr and step-sister Sandra Harvell. Many nieces and nephews and cousins. The family would like to send a special Thank You to Dr.Kristin Ancell of the Nashville VA Hospital, Dr. Karen Leidy of Murfreesboro VA Hospital and Dr. Peter C. Meadows of St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Also a special Thank You to the nurses at Alive Hospice. If sending flowers, please send small plants or flowers - these will be donated after the service. Mr. Young's wishes were to be cremated. The service will be Wednesday December 23, 2015 with visitation from 11am-1pm with military Memorial services to follow.
