Obituary of Christine Heath Davis

Christine Ross Heath Davis was born March 23, 1932 in Rutherford County and she passed away in Murfreesboro on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the age of 83.
Christine was the daughter of Robert B. Ross and Mattie Vera Victory Ross. She was a former owner of the Gladeville Corner Market and a member of the Wilson Line Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husbands, father of her children, Dan W. Heath, Jr. and her second husband Charles R. Davis. Brothers that preceded her are, Robert B. Ross, Jr., Owen Ross, Dudley Ross, and Melvin Ross; sisters, Estell McPeak, Evie Lee Patterson, Vera Tucker and Rachel Barnes.
Survivors include children, Donnie R. (Stacy) Heath of Lavergne, Diane Black of Murfreesboro, Steve A. Heath of Smyrna, Sherrie (Freddy) Brew of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by her sisters, Gracie Hall of Gladeville, Louise (Jimmy) Henley of Smyrna, and Faye Fusting of Smyrna. 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 4, 2016, 4-9 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Radford officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
