Mrs. Jean Andrews, age 81, of Smyrna, TN formerly of Overbrook, KS passed away February 7, 2016. She was born in Covington, VA on February 5, 1935 to the late Harlan and Della Sizemore Martin. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana and foster mom to several kids while in Belton, MO. Retired from marketing services of Jostens, Inc. in Topeka, KS. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, TN and the Gideons' Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Edwin Martin, Charles Martin and James Martin.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Harold Gordon Andrews; daughters Kim (Jay) Spiegel of Franklin, TN; Debi Andrews, Nashville, TN; son Marc Andrews, Smyrna, TN; and grandchildren Maggie, Jaimie and AJ Spiegel of Franklin, TN; sister Cook (Manuel) Meadows of Cawker City, KS; brothers Darrell (Pat) Martin of Nebraska City, NE; Terry (Glenna) Martin of Covington, VA.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 with visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Murfreesboro Funeral Home 145 Innsbrooke Blvd Murfreesboro, TN 37128. Pastor Ken Polk officiating. Burial will be held later in Covington, VA.
