Pat, you will be missed. Though it has been some time since I have seen Pat, I always recall the genuine kindness, honesty and sincerity he brought to work everyday. That was the qualities I recall most vividly since the day Rex Lindsey and I interviewed (and thankfully hired) Pat for the Kankakee Quarry manager role many years ago. I never encountered Pat without that big smile, and displaying an absolute love for his work, coworkers and employees. He has had a lasting impact on many of his team members and demonstrated daily the true Vulcan Way. He has left us too early, but not without leaving behind the fondest of memories and inspiring everyone he touched. I am grateful he chose to come to our organization and leave us a better place to carry forward. God Bless and Thank You Pat.
