Obituary of Patrick Andrew Korte

Patrick Andrew Korte, 57 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away suddenly due to a car accident, Saturday, May 1, 2021 on Interstate 24.
He is survived by his wife Amanda K. Korte. Children, Andrew “Drew” (Tara) Korte, Megan (Mike) Brauch and Leah Korte, granddaughter Coraline Korte, siblings, Theresa Averbeck, Mark Korte, Kathryn Heffington, Timothy Korte, Anthony Korte and Rose Price, lifelong best friend Jerry (Trish) Tolle, and his four legged big boy Atlas.
Patrick was the plant manager for Danley Quarry Vulcan Materials, Nashville. He was an avid sportsman, loved hunting, fishing, and was a member of the Sportsman’s Club in Godfrey, IL.
Also a sports fan, especially his St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs and an avid Harley rider.
Patrick was a hardworking, loving and funny guy who could control a room with his wit and presence. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held 4-7 pm Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with a memorial service at 7 pm.
The family would like to thank the Good Samaritans and the First Responders for the kindness and quick response that was given to Patrick at the accident.
