Julia Delores Savage Minatra – Age 84 of Rockvale, Tennessee died May 19, 2023 at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN after a sudden illness. Member of Rockvale Church of Christ, “Honey” was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was everyone’s “Honey.”
Julia was a retired Executive Administrative Assistant from Paramount Packaging Corp/Bemis Corporation. She loved family, travelling, entertaining, genealogy, crossword puzzles, sitting on the front porch, Camp J.O.Y, and her wonderful neighbors in the Newtown community. A fabulous “giver of experiences,” she made great memories with everyone.
Preceded in death by parents, Malcom Clay and Gladys Elizabeth Bolton Savage; sister, Ruby Allene Hill. Survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 64 years, Charles Lane Minatra; son, Clay Winfield (Elizabeth) Minatra of Rockvale; daughter, Ann Elizabeth (Jim) Clark of Crestwood, Kentucky; grandchildren, Mary Lane (Jacob) Doss of Lafayette, Tennessee; Katherine Ann Minatra of Rockvale; Caroline Elizabeth Clark of Crestwood, Kentucky; brother, Charles Edward Savage of Franklin, Tennessee.
Visitation with the family will be 10:00am-1:00pm Monday, May 22, 2023 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the funeral service at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens, Franklin, TN.
