Daddy, you've been gone one year today - the hardest year of my life. I miss taking care of you and cooking for you and getting your advice on everything. None of us were ready to lose you, although with your health we should have known it could happen at any time. I know you're glad mom came to be with you so soon after you got to heaven - you two never liked to be apart, and her living in the nursing home was so hard for you to adjust to. I am glad you two are together and happy! Your loving daughter, Bambi

Carl, you will be missed. and my condolences to your family, I know you loved them dearly and talked about them anytime I stopped by. I purchased many cars from Carl and if I had a problem, he took care of it right away. For years i would come by and shop and he never forgot my name, he even took me to the auctions so could find a car for one of my kids. I looked up to him because he was a true saleman with heart, amd I admire a saleman who can look you in the eye and shake a hand and make a fair deal. Carl, we will miss you. John

Mrs. Goodwin, Bambi, Terah, Matthew and Michael, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Back in 1985, Mr. Goodwin helped my husband and me by selling us a good car at what we know was much less than he could have sold it for - at a time when my husband had just lost his job, our children were very young and it was nearing Christmas. We never forgot that kindness. After my husband died, I went back to see Mr. Goodwin about another car and was only a little surprised that he knew right away who I was and that my husband had passed. He asked how we were and I could see that he was concerned about two kids growing up without their Dad. I know that the wonderful fellow Mr. Goodwin was lives on in each of you. Again, I am so sorry.
