Joe Reed, 38, of Christiana, passed away Thursday, Sept 16, 2010 at his residence. Joe was born in Murfreesboro, a 1990 Graduate of Oakland High School and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a Medic for Global Strategies Group and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Joe was preceded in death by his nephew, David Jones Reed. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Reed; parents, CSM Retired Irel B. and Louise Reed of Murfreesboro; brothers, Dr. Wain (Lynn) Reed of Enterprise, AL, Bart Reed of Smithville, TN, CMDR Buddy (Tess) Reed of Wartrace; sisters, Heidi (Brian) Reed of Dallas, TX and Lily Reed of Lascassas; special lifelong friend, Tiffany Patterson of Christiana; father in law, Maurice (Donna) Tidwell of Fairview; mother in law, Robin Parrish of Bon Aqua, TN; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 24, 2010 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral. Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, September 24, 2010 at 6:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Dr. Wain Reed officiating.
